Peninsula Campground is situated in pine and fir on the south end of Olallie Lake. There is fishing for trout and swimming in Olallie Lake as well as many of the numerous smaller lakes in the area. Deer and elk can be seen in the area. Some supplies are available at the lodge at Olallie Lake. Campers may gather firewood locally. There are 35 sites at the campground. The maximum trailer length is 24 feet.

Facilities: Peninsula Campground provides restrooms and drinking water. Some supplies are available in the lodge at Olallie Lake.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted for Peninsula Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Peninsula Campground is open May through September.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Peninsula Campground from Detroit, travel northeast on Forest Highway 46 about 16.5 miles to Forest Road 4690. Go southeast on Forest Road 4690 about 7 miles to Forest Road 4220. Go south about 6 miles on Forest Road 4220 to the campground.
