Mud Lake Trail #379 is a very good trail for one who wants solitude in a lakes setting. It has strong wilderness characteristics. This trail is in the Strawberry Wilderness Area. Water is plentiful for most of the trail except the upper end. The trail is 3.5 miles and is considered to be most difficult. Hiking and horseback riding are allowed.
