Moss Springs Campground lies on a ridgeline that forms the Eagle Cap Wilderness boundary. It is adjacent to Moss Springs Trailhead. Wilderness trails from Moss Springs drop steeply into the Minam River drainage or follow Grande Ronde Ridge. Most people who frequent the trailhead bring stock animals. For stock users, Moss Springs is well equipped, offering loading, watering, feeding and camping facilities. People without horses also use the facilities. The campground is close to town and cool during the hottest summer. There are a total of 12 sites with a maximum spur of 30 feet.
