Monty Campground is located in mixed conifer on the Metolius River. There are excellent fly-fishing opportunities in the river but please check fishing regulations. Wildlife in this area includes black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, deer and elk. The campground is most busy during the weekends and holidays. Visit nearby Lake Billy Chinook. Drinking water is not available. Monty campground provides 20 campsites and has a maximum spur of 20 feet. All of the campsites are primitive.
