Mill Creek Campground is set in old growth Douglas fir stand overlooking Mill Creek. Trout fish and swim in the creek. Union Creek Historic District is approximately 9 mi. from campground. Campers can gather supplies and firewood locally. Deer and elk are common to the area. Mosquitoes are prevalent till mid-summer. There is no drinking water on site. There are a total of 8 sites with a maximum spur of 27 feet.


Facilities: Mill Creek Campground provides vault toilets, picnic areas, and fire rings.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Mill Creek Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Mill Creek Campground is open April through November.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Mill Creek Campground from Medford, start out going northeast on West 6th Street toward North Front Street for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto OR-99 North for 1.2 miles. Turn slight right onto OR-62 East for 42.5 miles. Turn right onto 1st Street for 0.3 miles. Turn right onto Mill Creek Drive for 0.2 miles. From Prospect, go east on state highway 62 approximately 2 miles to forest route 030. Go northeast on 030 approximately 1 mile.
