McNeil Campground is situated in a fir and pine forest near the Sandy River. There is fishing for trout and Steelhead in the river. There are deer and elk in the area. Supplies are available in Zigzag. Expect cool weather and rain in summers. Campers may gather firewood locally. There are 34 sites at the campground. The maximum trailer length is 22 feet.
