Lost Prairie Campground is located along Hackleman Creek in an area of fir, spruce and Douglas fir. There is fishing in the creek. Nearby are the trailheads for Cone Peak Trail, Iron Mountain Trail and Hackleman Old Growth Grove. The Old Santiam Wagon Road came through the campground and parts of it may still be hiked. There are 8 tent only sites and 2 general sites in the campground. The maximum trailer length is 24 feet.


Facilities: Lost Prairie Campground provides restrooms, drinking water, and tables.

Best Time To Visit: Lost Prairie Campground is open May through October.

Fees: An overnight fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Lost Prairie Campground from Corvallis, travel east on State Highway 34 to U.S. Highway 20. Take U.S. Highway 20 east to Sweet Home. From Sweet Home, travel east on State Highway 20 for 37 miles to the campground.
