Lava Lake is situated on the shore of Lava Lake. There is a boat launch and fish cleaning station on site. Fishing and hiking are popular activities. This campground's trailhead leads to the adjacent Three Sisters Wilderness. Wildlife in this area includes black bears, mountain lions, coyotes, deer, and elk. The campground provides 43 sites and has a maximum spur of 30 feet. All of the campsites are developed.
