Lava Camp Lake Campground

Lava Camp Lake Campground is located near McKenzie Pass that offers panoramic views from Mt. Hood to the Three Sisters. There are also impressive views of volcanic activity. An interpretive trail is on site. Wildlife in this area includes black bears, deer and elk. This campground is busy during the weekends and holidays. It sits at an elevation of 5300 feet. Lava Camp Lake Campground provides 10 campsites and has a maximum spur of 20 feet. All of the campsites are primitive.
