| Larison Creek Trail #3646 is 6.3 miles long, has a medium rating, and receives moderate use. The lower section of trail is accessible through the winter. The spring season offers a variety of wildflowers, and autumn holds a spectacular array of color. This popular trail follows Larison Cove, on Hills Creek Reservoir, and then Larison Creek, through lush, green vegetation. The trail winds through old growth Douglas-fir, western hemlock, western red cedar, incense cedar, vine maple, big leaf maple, ferns, salal and ceanothus on the drier sites. Dispersed camping is a destination two miles upstream at the head of the cove. This trail offers a good mountain bike loop by untilizing Forest Roads 2102, 2102-101 and 21. |
