Laird Lake Campground is a primitive campground in a pine forest setting on the Elk River. Fish for trout or swim in the river. Deer, bears, squirrels and birds are common to the area. Campers may gather firewood and supplies locally. Campground is a light to moderate use area. No designated trails in the area. No water. There are a total of 4 sites with a maximum spur of 30 feet.

Facilities: Laird Lake Campground provides restrooms, tables, and fire rings.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Laird Lake Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Laird Lake Campground is open year-round.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Laird Lake Campground from Brookings, start out going southwest toward Oregon Coast Highway for less than 0.1 miles. Turn right onto Oregon Coast Highway for 28.0 miles. Turn right onto 8th Street for less than 0.1 miles. From Gold Beach, go northeast on primary forest route 33 (county route 595) approximately 33 miles to forest route 5325. Go northwest on 5325 approximately 8 miles.
