Knebal Springs/Bottle Prairie Loop are used most heavily by mountain bikes and infrequently by large horse groups. No motorized vehicles are allowed. The trail leaves the campground near the northwest end and heads out to Road 1720 for a 1 1/4 mile jaunt on the road to pick up the trail into the forest once more. Views of Mt. Hood and wildflowers are the primary scenic values. There is spring-fed water in the campground. Northwest Forest Pass required. This trail is 7 miles long and rated difficult.

Facilities: Knebal Springs/Bottle Prairie Loop is near Knebal Springs Campground. The nearest gas, food, and lodging is in Government Camp.

Directions: To reach Knebal Springs/Bottle Prairie Loop from Portland, travel on U.S. Highway 26 east to it's junction with State Highway 35. Take State Highway 35 about 10 miles to Forest Road 44. Turn right onto Forest Road 44, then left on Forest Road 17, then onto Forest Road 1720 to Knebal Springs Campground. The trail begins in the campground.
