Ketchketch Butte/Browns Mountain are two small mountains are close enough to make a nice pair of same day climbs. This trail is 17.7 miles long with elevations of 4500 to 5100 feet and is considered a more difficult trail.


Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Ketchketch Butte/Browns Mountain.

Best Time To Visit: Ketchketch Butte/Browns Mountain is open early spring to fall.

Fees: No fees are charged.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To reach Ketchketch Butte/Browns Mountain from Bend, drive 16 miles south on Hwy 97 and take the Fall River/Hwy 42 exit. Head 23 miles west on Hwy 42 to the junction with Hwy 46 (Cascade Lakes Hwy) and the junction of FS road 4290. Head 100 yards down FS road 4290 to the junction of FS 4291 and park here.
