Jackson Campground is located along the Applegate River set among fir and hardwoods forest. Fishing is available on the river. Supplies are available at Jacksonville. Visitors may gather their firewood locally. Visitors may see deer, osprey, bald eagles, bears and wildcats in the area. There are no hiking trails near the campground. The maximum spur is 24 feet long. There are 8 single sites available at the campground.
