Idlewild Campground is set in a pine forest setting on a small creek. Deer, bears, mountain lions and birds are common to the area. Campers may gather supplies and firewood locally. There are no designated trails in the area. The campground is also near the Big Game Winter Range. There are a total of 24 sites with a maximum spur length of 28 feet.
