Gumjuwac Trail #480

Gumjuwac Trail #480 climbs steadily in a series of switchbacks to Rd. 3550. The hike can be continued on Trail #480 to Gumjuwac Saddle or on Trail #458 to Lookout Mt. for spectacular views and summer wildflowers. This trail is 4.4 miles long and has a difficult rating.

Facilities: Gumjuwac Trail #480 is near Robinhood Campground which has restrooms. There is gas, food, and lodging in Government Camp.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Gumjuwac Trail #480.

Best Time To Visit: Gumjuwac Trail #480 is open May through October.

Accessibility: This trail is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To reach Gumjuwac Trail #480 from Portland, travel east on U.S. Highway 26 to State Highway 35. Drive north on State Highway 35 to Robinhood Campground. Park in the wide spot on the west side of the highway, or under the trees on the east side.
