Grotto Falls Trail #1503 is .3 miles long, has a more difficult rating, and receives light to moderate use. A picnic area and toilet facilities are available at the trailhead. The trail to the falls passes through a harvest unit and then enters old-growth forest. At the end of the trail, hikers can walk into the cavern behind the 100-foot falls. This trail is designated for hiking and is not recommended for motorcycles, horses or bicycles. Water is available along the trail, but should be treated before drinking. One-way trip duration is approximately a half hour.
