Fox Segment follows the North Umpqua River to the west through old-growth forest. Scenic views of the streams, the river and differing plant communities are provided along the trail. Poison Oak can be found along the trail. A toilet is provided at the Wright Creek Trailhead. Wildflowers can be observed during the spring season. This trail si 5 miles long, has a more difficult rating, and receives light use.


Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Fox Segment. Gas, lodging, and food are available in Glide.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Fox Segment.
