East Lake Campground is situated within Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Visit the nearby obsidian flow. Fish for trout and kokanee nearby. Supplies at Lapine. Firewood sold or may be gathered. Horse, hike and mountain bike trails nearby. Campground may be frequented by bears. There are a total of 29 sites with a maximum spur of 26 feet.


Facilities: East Lake Campground provides vault and flush toilets, drinking water, boat launch, accessible campsite and toilet.

Best Time To Visit: East Lake Campground is open May through October.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach East Lake Campground from Bend, go south on US HWY 97 approximately 23.5 miles to forest route 21. Go east on 21 approximately 16.5 miles.
