Detroit Flats Day Use Area is in a wooded area near Detroit Lake. There is boating, kayaking, water skiing, swimming, and fishing in the lake. This is an excellent place to have a barbecue as the grills are provided at the day use area. There are 6 day use sites in the day use area.
