Deadhorse Lake Campground is located on High Mountain Lake with grassy and pebbly beaches. Fishing is available on the lake. Visitors may catch rainbow trout. Boat facilities are available, such as a boat launching area. The mile per hour limit is 5 mph. There are day use areas at5 the campground. Visitors may bring or gather their firewood locally. There are several trails that are located near the campground. The trails are called Loop trail, Deadhorse Rim, Campbell Lake, Lee Thomas and Dead Cow Trails. This campground is very popular and fills very quickly on the holidays. The maximum spur is 18 feet long. There are 9 single sites and 7 group sites available at the campground.
