Cinder Hill Campground is situated within Newberry National Volcanic Monument. Boat fishing is available on the east shore of the lake for trout and kokanee. Supplies are available at Lapine. Firewood is sold by High Lakes or may be gathered by guests. Horse, hike and mountain bike trails are available nearby. This campground may be frequented by bears. There is a boat ramp on site as well. There are 110 campsites and has a maximum spur of 30 feet. All of the campsites are developed.


Facilities: Cinder Hill Campground provides drinking water, boating facilities, and restrooms.

Best Time To Visit: Cinder Hill Campground is open May-October.

Fees: Campsite and vehicle fees are charged.

Accessibility: Handicap accessibility is provided.

Rules: There is a 14 day maximum stay.

Directions: To reach Cinder Hill Campground from Bend go south on US Hwy 97 for 23.5 miles to forest route 21. Go east on 21 for 17.6 miles to forest route 2100 700. Go north on 2100 700 for 0.5 miles to Cinder Hill Campground.
