Camas Trail, #490A follows Camas and Clear Creeks from Camas Prairie to White River and Keeps Mill Campground. It offers views of the White River Canyon and Mt. Hood. This trail is especially beautiful in the spring and fall. This short 3 mile trail can be used horseback riders, mountain bikers, and hikers. The trail is rated difficult.

Facilities: Camas Trail, #490A is near Keeps Mill Campground. There is gas, food, and lodging in Pine Grove.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted for Camas Trail, #490A.

Best Time To Visit: Camas Trail, #490A is open April through October.

Accessibility: This area is not handicap accessible.

Directions: To reach Camas Trail, #490A from Madras, travel northwest on U.S. Highway 26 to State Highway 26. Go east on State Highwsy 216 for 3.5 miles to Road 2120. Turn left (north) and follow paved Road 2120 1 mile to the junction with Road 240. Turn left (west) on Road 240 (pavement ends shortly) for 1.2 mi. to the trailhead at Camas Prairie (there is a corral just west of the trailhead). Off-road parking is available.
