Camp Windy Campground is situated in a park-like locale of pine and fir. Supplies are available in Wamic. Campers may gather firewood. Numerous animals can be seen in the area. Hiking trail #458 is located nearby. There are 3 sites at the campground. The maximum trailer length is 10 feet.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Camp Windy Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Camp Windy Campground is open July through October.

Fees: No fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: The maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Camp Windy Campground from The Dallas, travel east on U.S. Highway 30 to U.S. Highway 197. Take U.S. Highway 197 south to the Tygh Valley Road. On the Tygh Valley Road turn right on to the Wamic Market Road. Travel down this road to Wamic. From Wamic, go east about 13.5 miles on Forest Highway 48 to Forest Road 4860. Go north on Forest Road 4860 about 9 miles to the campground. 4WD is recommended.
