Blue Pool Campground is positioned in an old growth forest alongside Salt Creek. There is fishing and swimming in the creek. A large picnic area is located near the creek. 1 mile east of the campground on State Highway 58 are the McCredie Hot Springs. Though there is a history of resorts and spas in the area, the hot springs are currently undeveloped. There are 24 multi-use sites at the campground. The maximum trailer length is 20 feet.
