Big Creek Trail #377 is mostly forested hiking/riding on the lower end of the trail. There are some open meadows that are good for camping. Camping is possible all along the trail. This trail is in the Strawberry Wilderness. The length of the trail is 5.3 miles. This is a more difficult trail. Hiking and horse riding is allowed but ATV and mountain biking are prohibited.

Facilities: There are no facilities provided at Big Creek Trail #377.

Reservations: Big Creek Trail #377 does not need or require reservations.

Best Time To Visit: Big Creek Trail #377 is open June through November. Water is scarce by mid-summer.

Directions: To reach Big Creek Trail #377 from Baker City, start out going south on 3rd Street toward Auburn Avenue for less than 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Auburn Avenue for 0.1 miles. Turn right onto OR-7 and continue to follow for 50.9 miles. Turn right onto US-26 for 15.3 miles. From Prairie City, follow County road 62 to Summit Prairie. Go west on Forest Service road 16 to the 924 road. Turn right on Forest Service road 1648. Go to Forest Service road 021. Follow the 021 road approximately 2 1/2 miles to the trailhead.
