Bandon State Natural Area awaits the beachcomber , the explorer, the artist and the dreamer. Located along Bandon's Beach Loop Road, there are several locations with beach access, picnicking and unsurpassed views. Fishing is a popular sport among the visitors here. There are varied species of wildlife that people are able to spot when they visit the area. Such wildlife includes deer, elk, and smaller animals in the wooded portion before the shores of the Pacific Ocean begin. Parking is ample at all locations.

Directions: To reach Bandon State Natural Area from North Bend start out going west on Virginia Ave toward Sherman Ave. for 0.1 miles. Turn left onto Sherman Ave. for 0.1 miles. Turn slight left onto US-101 S. Continue to follow US-101 S. for 26.5 miles. Take US-101 5.0 miles south of Bandon.
