Nestled in an open ponderosa pine forest, the Antlers Guard Station site is a historic, rustic cabin with two small rooms, a garage, and an outhouse. The 2 room cabin provides the following furnishings: wood stove for heat and propane lights, propane cooking stove with an oven, rustic furnishings with one double futon, two sets of bunk beds (sleeps 6); table and chairs, an outhouse and an outside hand pump for water, utensils for cooking and eating, an axe, shovel, cleaning supplies, a picnic table and fire ring. Visitors will need to bring bedding and towels, personal items, a flashlight, first-aid kit, trash bags, food, ice chest, and any other necessities.
