Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort

Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort is located at the end of highway 156 about 28 miles northwest of Las Vegas off of I-95. Eleven trails can be found here served by three chair lifts and one surface lift.

Since the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort is located in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest, it operates under a special-use permit of the US Department of Agriculture and Forest Service.

Facilities: At the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort, a caf is located at the base lodge serving hot or cold drinks, soup, salad, chili, burgers, sandwiches, and snacks. During the peak season, the outdoor mesquite-fired grill serves up an array of fire-grilled entrees.
Also on site is a full-service bar, open daily from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Reservations: Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort accepts reservations for private lessons only.

Best Time To Visit: Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort is usually open from mid-December to April depending on conditions. Call ahead for snow conditions. Hours are daily 9am to 4pm, and half-day - 1pm to 4pm.

Fees: Use fees are charged. Additional fees may be incurred for ski rental, clothing rental, etc.

Accessibility: Persons with limited mobility should call the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort for details.

Rules: Skiers assume the risk of and accept the responsibility for injuries resulting from the inherent risks of skiing or riding. Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort recommends that skiers follow the 'skiers code'.

Special rules for the terrain park are:
  • Know your limits and ski/ride within your ability level
  • Before getting into freestyle terrain observe all signage and warnings
  • One person on a feature at a time
  • Wait your turn and call your start
  • Always clear the landing area quickly
  • Respect all signs and stay off closed terrain and features

Directions: To reach the Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort from Las Vegas, take U.S. Highway 95 north about 30 miles to Hwy 156, Lee Canyon. The highway ends at Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort.
