Continue to follow US-50 (approximately 7.6 miles.) Turn left onto NV-341 for 2.8 miles. Stay straight to go onto NV-342 for 3.7 miles; NV-342 becomes NV-341/C Street/Main Street in Virginia City. The museum is located at 113 N. C Street in Virginia City, Nevada.

To reach The Way It Was Museum from Reno: Merge onto I-80 E. then merge onto US-395 S via exit 15 toward Carson City (9.9 miles.) Then, merge onto US-395 S via exit 57B toward Virginia City. Take a left onto NV-341/Geiger Grade Rd/Virginia City Hwy. Continue to follow NV-341 for 13.4 miles until turning left onto Union Street. The museum is located at 113 N. C Street in Virginia City, Nevada
