Painted Desert Golf Club is owned and operated by the American Golf Corporation. The somewhat narrow fairways are defined by the mounds on the sides. Many fairway grass bunkers and greenside sand bunkers have been incorporated into this course's design. In addition, a few trees can alter players' shots if they hit an extremely errant shot, but none of them really come into play with the exception of hole #14, a short 313-yard, par 4. The greens are difficult to read because they are loaded with subtle breaks and undulations. Water hazards come into play on only a few holes.

Rules: No tank tops or cutoffs. Metal spikes are allowed, but fivesomes are not. Walking the course is not allowed.

Directions: To reach Painted Desert Golf Club from Downtown Las Vegas, take I-15 going north, when you come to Hwy 95 turn north again, then take the first left onto Ann Rd, just past the Santa Fe Hotel & Casino, (this is not a big sign, so watch out for it), when you come to Painted Mirage Dr turn left again, drive a short distance and you will see the parking lot for the Painted Desert Golf Club.
