Markleeville Campground is situated in an open forest on Pleasant Valley Creek near the East Fork Carson River. This campground consists of 10 campsites. Wildlife in the area includes deer, birds, and occasional black bears. There is no firewood available in this area; campers are advised to bring their own.

Facilities: Markleeville Campground provides restrooms and drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted for Markleeville Campground.

Best Time To Visit: Markleeville Campground is open April through September.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Markleeville Campground from Carson City, follow Hwy 395 south for 15 miles to Hwy 88. Take Hwy 88 south approximately 14 miles to the junction with Highway 4/89 at Woodfords , California . Turn left on Highway 4/89 for approximately 6 miles to the Markleeville Campground entrance on the north side of highway. The entrance is approximately 1/2 mile past the small town of Markleeville .
