Lye Creek Campground provides 13 individual sites as well as 1 group site. It is set among deeply wooded quaken aspen with Lye Creek running through. Campers enjoy fishing for rainbow and brook trout in the creek. Mule deer, bighorn sheep, squirrels, and birds are common to the area.


Facilities: Lye Creek Campground provides restrooms and drinking water. Supplies are available in Paradise Valley.

Best Time To Visit: Lye Creek Campground is open July through October. It is usually full on holidays and during hunting season.

Fees: A camping fee is charged.

Accessibility: This campground is not handicap accessible.

Rules: Maximum length of stay is 14 days.

Directions: To reach Lye Creek Campground from Winnemucca, follow Hwy 95 north for approximately 22 miles. Turn right on Hwy 290 and follow it for about 27 miles to forest road 084. Continue north on 084 for 6 miles to forest route 087. Go west on 087 for 2 miles to the campground.
