Most of the sites in Bootleg Campground are shaded by Jeffrey pine trees. The West Walker River is located just on the other side of the road from the campground and offers great trout fishing. Bootleg Campground has a campground host.

Directions: To reach Bootleg Campground from Carson City, follow Hwy 395 south for approximately 58 miles to the campground.

To reach Bootleg Campground from Bridgeport, follow Hwy 395 north for 23.7 miles to the campground.
