Atomic Testing Museum

Atomic Testing Museum and The Nevada Test Site Historical Foundation (NTSHF) was founded in 1998 to preserve the Nevada Test Site (NTS) legacy.
Their mission is to preserve and foster public accessibility to the history associated with the NTS and the nation's nuclear weapons testing program. The Foundation promotes and supports cultural, educational and scientific programming to encourage the development and public exchange of views regarding the NTS and its impact on the nation.
The NTSHF is a Nevada nonprofit corporation, defined, operated, supervised and controlled pursuant to the provisions of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code

Facilities: Atomic Testing Museum offers restrooms and a gift store.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to visit the Atomic Testing Museum.

Best Time To Visit: Atomic Testing Museum is open to the public Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

Directions: The Atomic Testing Museum is on the first floor of the Frank H. Rogers Science and Technology Building with permanent exhibits to open in 2004.
