East Lake Mead offers visitors all the opportunities of Lake Mead. There is a general store located at Temple Bar, offering the basic needs for camping, groceries and snack foods, fishing gear and tackle, souvenirs and clothing. In addition, maps and park publications are available.

Facilities: Temple Bar Marina has boat rentals, fuel, general store merchandise, and a restaurant, dry storage, and slip rentals. Boat rentals range from personal watercraft to 16-foot fishing boats, 18-foot runabouts for water-skiing and exploring, and 24-foot patio boats.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed nor accepted to enter East Lake Mead.

Best Time To Visit: East Lake Mead National Recreation Area is open year-round.

Fees: Lake Mead National Recreation Area has entrance and lake use fees. Daily and annual passes can be purchased at the entrance stations.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: A fishing license from either Arizona or Nevada, to which a special-use stamp from the opposite state is attached, is required for those wishing to fish on Lake Mead.

Directions: To reach East Lake Mead from Las Vegas Nevada take US 93 through Bolder NV and across Hoover Dam to Temple Bar Road (County Road 143) to Temple Bar.
