The Chaparral Country Club is a traditional course and is an excellent location for all skill levels to work on their game. There is one lake on the course, and sand bunkers come into play on seven holes. Ladies hit from the same set of tees as the men. There are additional tees that can be used when playing an eighteen hole round.
Designer Jack Foster built the course in 1970. The greens are Bermuda grass and the fairways are winter rye.
