Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument
Kasha-Katuwe features large, tent-shaped rocks on the steep cliffs of Peralta Canyon. These rocks were created by the volcanism and erosion, which have built up and then torn down this landscape.

Petroglyph National Monument
The monument protects a variety of cultural and natural resources including five volcanic cones, hundreds of archeological sites and an estimated 25,000 images carved by native peoples and early Spanish settlers.

Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument
What remains today beautiful reminders of early contact between Pueblo Indians and Spanish Colonials: the ruins of four mission churches, at Quarai, Abo, and Gran Quivira and the partially excavated pueblo of Las Humanas.
