Conchas Lake
The lake is regularly stocked by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish. The best times to catch walleye and crappie are spring and fall. Anglers catch channel catfish, bluegill, largemouth bass, bullhead and sunfish year-round.

Ute Lake
The 13 mile long lake, offers walleye fishing, along with bass, crappie, and catfish. The deep-blue lake attracts a variety of boaters, and especially during summer, visitors are apt to see a mix of fishing boats, ski boats, personal watercraft, and sailboats.
