Aeroplane Mesa Campground - Hiking In National Forests
This campground provides six individual campsites for tents.

Black Range Crest Trail - Trail Systems
This trail starts at an elevation of 7,520 and reaches 10,080 feet at the crest of the mountain. This trail is rated as "moderate".

Catwalk National Recreation Area - Short Trails (1-3 miles), Walking & Nature Trails
The newly constructed trail on the south side of White Water Creek opens up a whole new view of the canyon never really seen by humans before and is designed so that people of all abilities can experience it. .

Cherry Creek Campground - Hiking In National Forests
This campground, surrounded by dense mixed conifer, provides 12 individual camping sites for tents.

Continental Divide National Scenic Trail - Long Trails (9+ miles)
When complete, the Continental Divide Trail will climb and descend the peaks of the Rocky Mountains from Canada to Mexico, traversing mountainside meadows, granite peaks and high-desert saddles. Through five states, 25 National Forests, 20 Wilderness areas, 3 National Parks, 1 National Monument and 8 Bureau of Land Management Resource areas- the CDT travels 3,100 miles through America's most dramatic and wild backcountry.

Gallinas Canyon Trail - Medium Trails (4-8 miles)
Trail 129 follows Gallinas Canyon on this pleasant journey through dense mixed conifer and aspen forests all the way to the crest of the Black Range. The trail length is 5.75 miles. The elevation level at the starting point is 7,080 feet and rises to 9,000 feet. This trail is rated as "moderate".

Gila National Forest - Hiking In National Forests
The 3.3 million acre forest, in the mountains of southwestern New Mexico, offers the diversity of rugged mountains, deep canyons, meadows, and semi desert country. Elevations range from 4,200 to 10,900 feet and cover four of the six life zones. Ocotillo and cactus are found in the lower elevations, and juniper, pine, aspen, and spruce-fir forests are plentiful in the high mountains. Diverse recreational opportunities can be enjoyed during all seasons.
