Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument
Kasha-Katuwe features large, tent-shaped rocks on the steep cliffs of Peralta Canyon. These rocks were created by the volcanism and erosion, which have built up and then torn down this landscape.

Manzano Mountains State Park
This state park contains five miles of trails that encircles the Manzano Mountains campground. The campground offers 37 developed sites and seven that are full hook-up.

Rio Grande Nature Center State Park
The nature center offers naturalist-led hikes, bosque exploration, exhibits, hands-on activities, teacher workshops, seasonal classes and special events for visitors of all ages.
