Turn left onto Highway 37 and proceed to Forest Service 107. Turn left and follow Forest Service to the South Fork Campground turn off. Turn left and follow this road into the upper parking area. Forest Service Trail 19 starts there and follows the tributary for 6.0 miles. To reach South Fork Bonito from Alomagordo, take I-82/70 north to Ruidoso.
