The Monjeau Campground, located within the Lincoln National Forest, sits at an elevation of 9,500 feet. There are 4 individual camping sites offered to tent campers.

Facilities: Restrooms, fire grills, and picnic tables are provided at Monjeau Campground. Water is not provided.

Reservations: Monjeau Campground is on a first come, first serve basis.

Best Time To Visit: Monjeau Campground is open May 1 through November 1, depending on road conditions and snowfall.

Fees: There are no fees charged for overnight camping at this campground.

Accessibility: Unknown

Rules: All visitors and users of the National Forests are subject to Federal Regulations. Pets must be restrained or on a leash at all times while in developed recreation areas.

Directions: To get to Monjeau Campground from:

Alamogordo travel north on US-54, turn right on US-70. Turn left on NM State Highway 48, turn west on NM State Highway 532, for 1 mile. Turn north (right) on Forest Road 117 for 5 miles. The last 3 miles may be rough.
Roswell travel west on US-70, turn right on NM State Highway 48. turn left onto NM State Highway 532, for 1 mile. Turn north on Forest Road 117 for 5 miles. The last 3 miles may be rough.
