The Baca Campground is located within the Lincoln National Forest. This is a pinyon-juniper area with room for tent and trailer camping.

Facilities: Restrooms, fire grills, and picnic tables are provided. Sometimes, water is piped in from a nearby spring. It is not reliable.

Reservations: This campground is on a first come, first serve basis.

Best Time To Visit: This campground is open year round, depending on road conditions and snowfall.

Fees: There are no fees charged for overnight camping at this campground.

Directions: Approximately 10 miles east of the village of Capitan on US 380, turn left on Forest Road 57 and proceed about 7 miles. The Baca area is on the north (left) side of Forest Road 57.
