The Rocky Point Camping Area, located within the Santa Rosa Lake State Park, is surrounded by low, rocky hills dotted with pinon and juniper trees. There are 91 individual developed campsites, 25 of which are designated as full hook-up.
Santa Rosa Lake offers a variety of water sports which include fishing, boating, water-skiing, canoeing, and wildlife enthusiasts. Anglers usually have luck fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel catfish, walleye and crappie. There are also sunfish, yellow perch, and a few trout.

Facilities: Restrooms and picnic areas are provided at the Rocky Point Camping Area.

Reservations: Reservations are accepted at the Rocky Point Camping Area.

Fees: A day usage fee and an overnight camping fee do apply.

Accessibility: This area is handicap accessible.

Rules: This area is located within the Santa Rosa Lake State Park; park regulations apply.

Directions: To reach the Rocky Point Camping Area from Santa Rosa, travel seven miles north of Santa Rosa via NM 91.
