The camp sites at Pinon Campground are nestled among mature piƱon and juniper trees. It is tranquil and undiscovered with a few sites having a view of Quemado Lake. The campground is comprised of a family camping loop and a group camping loop.
This campground offers 22 individual camping areas for tents or RV's. There are no RV hookups available but some sites are large enough for self contained RVs up to 30 feet.

Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, drinking water, grills, and fire rings are provided.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted, except for the group camping site.

Best Time To Visit: This campground is open May 1 - Sept 30.

Fees: Overnight and day usage fees do apply.

Accessibility: This campsite is handicap accessible.

Rules: A variety of rules apply when camping in a National Forest. Please contact the local Forest Ranger for more specific information.

Directions: From Quemado, NM, take NM 32 south 14.2 miles to Quemado Lake/NM 103 sign. Then turn left onto NM 103 and go 4 miles to where Forest Road 13 (gravel) begins. Continue straight on Forest Road 13 for 1.4 miles to campground sign. Turn left into campground.
