The Juniper campground, located next to Quemado Lake, sits at an elevation of 7,720 feet. It offers full RV hookups, leveled tent sites, and easy lake access.
This campground contains 18 individual camping areas for tents or full hook-up RV's.

Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, drinking water, and fire rings are provided at Juniper Campground.

Reservations: Reservations are not accepted at Juniper Campground. Sites are on a first come basis.

Best Time To Visit: Juniper Campground is open May 1 - Sept 30.

Fees: Overnight and day usage fees do apply.

Accessibility: This campsite is handicap accessible.

Rules: This campground is located within the Gila National Forest; forest regulations apply.

Directions: To get to Juniper Campground from Lordsburg, travel east on I-10, turn left onto I-25, and travel to Socorro. Turn left onto US-60, and travel to Quemado. From Quemado, NM, take NM 32 south 14.2 miles to Quemado Lake/NM 103 sign. Then turn left onto NM 103 and go 4 miles to where Forest Road 13 (gravel) begins. Continue straight on Forest Road 13 for 1 mile to campground sign. Turn right into campground.
