Hyde Park Circle Trail

Hyde Park Circle Trail is a 3.75 mile trail starts at the Hyde Lodge, and circles through a good portion of the campground. There is an overlook view towards the northwest end of this trail. If visitors head directly south of the Hyde Lodge, this trail will take them into the Black Canyon National Forest.

Facilities: The Hyde Park Circle Trail provides 50 individual camping areas, restrooms, sheltered picnic areas, and drinking water.

Reservations: Reservations are not needed or accepted to hike Hyde Park Circle Trail.

Best Time To Visit: Unknown

Fees: There are no fees to hike this trail.

Accessibility: The restrooms and group shelters at the state park are handicap accessible.

Rules: Know all park rules and regulations, which are posted in the park.

Drive only on designated roadways and obey posted speed limits. Camp only in the designated areas.
Keep pets on leashes. Do not feed the wildlife.
Be aware that vandalizing, defacing, or removing antiquities, minerals, plants or wildlife is absolutely prohibited.
Bring and drink ample water, at least one gallon per day per person, and allow for the extreme heat of the desert in the summer.

Directions: Hyde Park Circle Trail in Hyde Memorial State Park is eight miles northeast of Santa Fe Plaza via Hyde Park Road.
