Gallinas - Upper Campground is more of a picnic site than a campground, although it is acceptable for visitors to camp here. It is located on NM Highway 152, approximately 37 miles east of Silver City. The site is easily accessed by most vehicles, in most weather conditions. The parking lot and picnic sites are lined with gravel, making this the perfect choice for visitors wanting to experience the outdoors without sacrificing comfort.
