Gallinas - Lower Campground is situated in a tight little canyon along New Mexico Highway 152. It is approximately 35 miles east of Silver City within the Black Range Mountains. The campground is easily accessible in most weather conditions, by most vehicles. The campground is a popular site due to its seclusion and beautiful vegetation.

Facilities: Restrooms, picnic tables, fire rings, and grills are provided at Gallinas - Lower Campground. Drinking water is not provided.

Lordsburg travel north on NM State Highway 90 to Silver City. Campground is located approximately 35 miles east of Silver City along NM Highway. 152. Campground is on south side of road and easily recognized by posted signs.
Truth or Consequences travel west on NM Highway 152, the campground is on the south side of the road and easily recognized by posted signs.
